Diversity Panel to Foster Inclusion and Engagement in Seattle’s Workplace
University of Phoenix to co-host diversity panel and career fair
Seattle, WA., June 28, 2011 - On Wednesday, July 6 starting at 9:00 a.m. University of Phoenix, the nation’s largest private university, the Seattle chapter of the Society for Human Resource Management, and City Career Fair, will host a Diversity Panel to foster valuable dialogue among Human Resources professionals committed to diversity, inclusion and engagement. Immediately proceeding the panel, at 11:00 a.m., attendees will be invited to participate in a Diversity Employment Day Career Fair.

Panelists including human resources experts from industries such as health care, aerospace and telecommunications will discuss the topic: “Empowering Champions: Diversity in Leadership.” Attendees will learn best practices and strategies for how top leaders and HR professionals have helped to empower individuals within their organizations to increase diversity in leadership positions.
